In the 1860 Dodge County, Minnesota census a Tega is listed that matches the birth date of Margaret, also known as Maggie. Information on her is also contained in the letter to Dawn Schuette listed under Etta Pease Johnson's notes. Margaret was married three times. With her second husband she went to Washington (State) and may have re-connected with relatives there. Margaret was probably named for her maternal grandmother, Margaret Smith Tilden. It appeared that Margaret and her third husband Abraham Adams may have been the one's that converted to the Christian Science religion that her daughter Etta Pease and George W. Johnson embraced. An article in the Willmar Tribune tells of a woman from Willmar traveling to Boston, joining the religion and returning to Willmar to convert others.

Abraham Adams, third husband of Margaret, obituary states that he was a mechanic and locomotive foreman with the railed and was a 'respected citizen of Willmar for over thirty years'. He died of a heart attack. He was a foreman in the 'round house' of the Great Northern R.R. in Willmar. Also he was a member of the Church of Christ Scientist in Willmar. (Perhaps he was the one who first persuaded others in our family to join the Christian Science church). He first came to Duluth, MN when he was 14 years old, he returned to England, married, was an engineer on a steamship in England, and eventually return to Minneapolis, MN and subsequently to Willmar. After his first wife died (1895), he married Margaret Wright (1898). After she died, he apparently went to live with a daughter in Minot, ND (see appendix)
