Thanks for spending the time to view my presentation. I hope you learn something new or found a resource that will help you. There are many exciting places in the world. There are just as many exciting places on the internet as well. Hopefully you now have a starting place to find the resources that you need in your struggle against our MonSter. There are many exciting developments happening all the time. You can find them! Could be you'll find something that you never even considered before.
You now have the tools you'll need to conquer the unknown universe called "the web." Mr. Rocky Dog and I hope you enjoyed your voyage through these pages.

You see, your voice does matter. It's what you do and how you do it that makes all the difference. That's why we (all of us) are here. That's why what you think is critical for the rest of us to know! It's the attitude you keep in your heart that will shine through. If we all do what we can there will be enough for all.
Please be sure to tell your friends about this presentation so they can learn more about the many types of resources that are available for PWMS! Together we can slay (or at least learn more about) this MonSter. Mr. Rocky R. Dog is so proud of this presentation, we freely give permission for this presentation to be used by PWMS at one of your next MS Support Group Meetings. Maybe it will help someone there. You won't know unless you ask!
If you don't already attend a support group or a self help group of some kind, I highly encourage you to do so. For me it made a difference right from the start in the fall of 1987. Sure, there will most likely be some folks there using crutches or chairs or scooters. At least we're among the best looking people that ever used a wheel chair, or not. Not everyone ends up with a chair or uses one today. Not all PWMS even get noticed by the general public. I can still hear folks say, "I never would have guessed if you hadn't told me you have MS." That was another life time ago. At least we all belong to the same club. Welcome to it! Accepting the fact that you have a disease, multiple sclerosis by name, will help.
A support group provides you with the knowledge that you are not alone. You may feel that way at times, but there are many other PWMS out there just like you. They don't have your MonSter, but you don't have their MonSter either. Now, thanks to the internet, it doesn't matter where you are in the entire world, you can still have your own support group via the internet, which is perhaps the greatest resource of all. You won't know unless you reach out and try. Enjoy finding your resources.
