Resources?

The Center for Earthquake Research and Information at The University of Memphis has a unique resource for the public. You can find and get a map of all the earthquakes occurring around the New Madrid fault area for any given period of time.

I've created a map of all of the earthquakes that have occurred since we moved to Nashville May 1, 1995.

 

What's A Resource, Anyway?

This is a real question that is also an individual's choice.  The resource here is one that I use!  As the saying goes, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."  Folks on the west coast may not be concerned with central US earthquakes, but since I live close to the New Madrid fault, this is a resource for me. 

MS can be much like that too.  Each PWMS has their own variety of MS.  It would be nice if we all had the same symptoms in the same way and we could all take the same medicine to get well.  Well, it ain't gonna happen folks!  We all need to find the resources that make a difference in our own lives. 

So, there you have it.  Each of us is alone with this MonSter we call MS.  The purpose of the presentation is to provide examples of the many types of resources that are available on the internet.  I have provided links that you can follow to explore, learn and use if you find them useful for you! 

All of the links in this presentation are Kid Safe and many of them provide a chance to learn more than you ever wanted to know.  For example, just look what I've done with my resource!
