Resources For PWMS

From the Global to the local the MS Society has web sites for you to explore.  The World of Multiple Sclerosis (WoMS) has started a really fantastic program.  They are trying to organize all literature published by all of the societies world wide!  Hopefully the result will be what we've been asking for for a long time on the net.  Giving us access to those pamphlets online so we can read them and print what we want!  Seems so simple, yet the need to keep control of who has what always seems to get in the way.

The NMSS website policy states that they would rather the local chapters not post any MS specific information.  They would rather have you visit the national site for MS related information so they can control for accuracy and the quality of the information you receive.

The good news here is that the local chapters can use their websites to focus more on local activities and what they are doing for their clients rather than trying to be "the source" of up to date medical information.  Makes sense, in it's own strange way.  Of course the local chapters still are not supposed to link anywhere but to their fund raising sponsors or to national's website.  That leaves a lot resources out of reach from their website for PWMS.

Okay, so we know that the society has websites from the global to the local.  Isn't there somewhere else to go?  You bet there is!
